This workshop for lecturers, teachers, field coordinators and other represented teaching faculty will focus on contract provisions, campus policies, and department procedures and practices pertaining to excellence (6th year) reviews and triannual merit (post-6th year) reviews.

It's critical to understand the criteria (teaching evals! excellence = the magic number 6!) and what you can do if your scores are less than ideal.

This workshop will help you understand what to expect, how to present yourself powerfully, and how to communicate effectively with administrators.  It will be helpful for those currently under review as well as those who would like to start preparing 1-3 years in advance.  Emphasis will depend on the needs of attendees.

Long-time veterans are warmly encouraged to come and share your advice and experience with your newer colleagues.  We can also conduct department or school-specific review workshops upon request.
