Our Union, Your Purpose Workshop - April 1st, 2017

Our Union, Your Purpose is a 4-hour workshop for UC-AFT members and is part of a leadership development initiative across UC campuses. It is designed to help develop new leaders from within our Local, beginning with an historical context detailing the establishment and growth of our local to date. Participants will then collaborate on strategies to articulate and enhance our local's goals and vision, and formulate bold strategies to seize our Purpose as we head into the future in solidarity. New members are particularly encouraged to attend, even if you are not interested in pursuing a "leadership" role; This is Our Union, and we need to hear your voice to help shape and carry out Your Purpose.

The workshop will take place on April 1st, 2017 from 10am to 2pm near the UCSB campus (precise location TBD), and lunch will be provided. Please consult the attached flyer to RSVP!
