UC-AFT hit the ground running in the month of October. We held four two-day membership outreach events at UCI, UCB, UCSD and UCLA, where we talked with well over 200 bargaining unit members.  These one-on-one conversations resulted in about 120 new UC-AFT members.  Much of this outreach was done by lecturers and librarians who work on these campuses.  UC-AFT members talking to their colleagues is how we build a stronger union! Please get in touch with the UC-AFT officers on your campus to find out how you can help.
