Welcome, UCI Anteaters! The UCI chapter of UC-AFT represents over 550 lecturers and librarians. We are a member-driven chapter, working to support one another and better understand our rights at work. Our 10-member Executive Board meets monthly, and you are welcome to attend. We’d also love to see you at our next membership meeting.

In the Fall we regularly hold a series of workshops for our members.

  • The Early Career Workshop focuses on important deadlines, assessments, and reviews that occur in your first 18 quarters of employment.
  • The 18-quarter and Beyond Workshop highlights the review process for the Excellence, Merit, and Continuing Reviews.
  • The Professional Development Workshop focuses on helping members secure funding for professional activities, including conference travel, course releases and more.
