Bay Area Chapter

A crowd of about 100 UC Berkeley Lecturers, students, and supporters gather in Sproul plaza during the 2019-2021 contract campaign. In the foreground, two students hold a banner reading "The UC Works Because We do" with signatures of UC-AFT members. In the back, a large blue banner reads "Faculty Equity - Student Success". One student holds handmade sign reading "Students in Solidarity with teachers". Others in the crowd hold pickets reading "End Unpaid Work Now!"

Welcome! The Bay Area chapter of UC-AFT represents 1,200 lecturers, librarians, and archivists at UC Berkeley, UCSF, and UC Law San Francisco.
