UCAFT Solidarity Action with UCB Campus Workers

Event date and time:
Thursday, February 1, 2018 - 12:00pm to 1:30pm
Location:
Outside of Ethnic Studies Library
Event description:

We are writing to invite you to join UCAFT members as we stand in solidarity with UPTE, AFSCME, the CNA and other campus unions who are currently in negotiations with the UC.  As you know, our union is entering negotiations with the UC and given the last round of negotiations, we know it won't be easy to win all the gains we need for librarians across the UC.  But we are getting organized and are actively building connections and support among other campus workers because we are stronger when we stand united.

This is why we are asking you to join us as part of a UCAFT contingent to rally in support of our fellow campus workers on Thursday, February 1st from 12-1:30pmat Sproul Hall.

UCAFT members will be meeting at 12pm outside of the Ethnic Studies Library and will march over together with our banner.  Don't forget to wear your union shirt!  Feel free to contact Paul Bissember at pbissember@ucaft.org | 510-693-4176 if you'd like to join us or you need your UCAFT shirt.
