Bylaws Amendment Passes with 94% Support!

Dear Lecturers and Librarians,

The bylaws amendments overwhelming passed with 94% of voters in support of the changes! We had even more participation in the bylaws vote than in our elections! We think that this has been an important step toward democratizing our Local and we look forward to working with all of you to collectively determine the direction of our Local over this coming year. 

Once again we would like to extend an invitation to members to add any agenda items for our first monthly membership meeting. Please send those to Paul (pbissember@ucaft.org) by Monday at noon. More details on the date and the time of the meeting will be sent out early next week.

We also want to remind you that the librarians are continuing to organize and build support for their contract campaign!  Details on their campaign will be posted early next week on our Local's website.  Stay tuned for more details.
